KiteDR is a kiteboarding school based on Kite Beach, Cabarete, on the Dominican Republic's north shore. 20 minutes from Puerto Plata airport. All instructors hold active IKO certification, the professional standard for kite instruction in 75 countries.
We teach complete beginners through a structured 9-hour IKO Level 1 course. Intermediate riders get in-water coaching focused on upwind riding, transitions, and confidence. Advanced riders can book filmed sessions to work on jumps and tricks. We also run guided kite tours to three spots around the DR. Operating on Kite Beach since 2014.
